This whole blogging thing is new to me, but I thought I might give it a whirl. I can remember when a friend tried to give me a computer many years ago and I told him that I didn't have any use for one. Now I have one in my home, use one at work every day and carry similar technology around with me just about everywhere I go. Go figure! I have been writing for many years, but never did learn how to type until late in the 90s. I used to pay someone to type out what I had written in hand. Boy how things have changed. Now I type, surf the net, do stuff like this on a web site and use a digital camera daily. I guess this blog will be a continuation of that little bit of personal growth that I didn't think I needed back when that friend offered me that computer. I don't know where it will lead, but part of the reason I call it this, that and the other is so I can just go with the flow and write about whatever strikes me as relevant or irrelevant or irreverent at the time. I would like to offer an apology ahead of time for writing what may seem like a lot of blogs about hunting or fishing or great books. Those things are where my interests lie and I would welcome public interaction on those topics when they do appear here. I look forward to writing this, that and the other.
