What's coming up for August and September?

Posted Monday, August 8, 2011, at 10:35 PM

I have to start this week out with an apology. I have had to miss a couple events as of late because of being under the weather, and with just too many tasks on the slate it really bogged me down. I will be bouncing back and just wanted to let you know what was up if you missed me at an event as of late. Thanks for reading and don't worry it is going to be a great fall season coming up, though the summer is not over just yet, and we still have plenty of time to get rid of the summer blues by catching a live show in the area!

Here is a quick overview of some of the highlight events coming up in August and September this year. Make sure to mark your calendar now so you don't miss out on of the musical excitement. All of the events are in Nevada except for those with the *Asterisk before the date. Have a happy concert day!

Friday August 12, Songwriter Night at the Armadillo Sound Studio

*Saturday August 20, Marci Mitchell at the Sheldon Picnic, in Sheldon Missouri

Friday August 26, Songwriter Night at the Armadillo Sound Studio

*Saturday August 27, Muddy Creek Band at Emporia Kansas

*Friday September 9, Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance at Sandstone Amphitheater in Kansas City, MO

Saturday September 10, Dangerous Doug Harper at the Armadillo Sound Studio

Last but not least, folks are gearing up for the three-day event titled City Wide Shopping Days and Music Fest coming next month as well, Thursday through Saturday the 15, 16, and 17th of September. Nearly forty area businesses and venues are predicted to participate with shopping, dining, live music, arts, and more!
