Stimulating the AMERICAN economy

Soon, many of us will be receiving checks in the mail. Not exactly pennies from heaven, but money our leaders hope we will spend to kick-start the economy.

It's estimated that the discount store giants will be getting a huge share of this money. I hope that's not the case in this little town. I hope that people will buy local, and buy American. Buy something labeled "Made in the U.S.A." and keep that money here. Don't send it to China. Or Thailand. Or Mexico.

Spend away. Buy anything you want. Just make sure it's something that stimulates the economy at home.

I feel that this money that they are sending to fellow americans is just a Band-Aid for a bigger problem. Once this money that people spend on the economy then what? What happens later on down the road? We will be still in debit and the government is going to try and figure out another way for America to get out this recession that we are in? Yes I said it we are in a recession! So, like I mentioned before it is a band-aid for a bigger problem. My spouse works for an American company and we only buy made in the USA items. Whether that is from a moms and pops store or a walmart we always look to see if it is made in the USA!

So we will see what the next President has in store for us!

I wanted an Earth Day shirt real bad but just couldn't buy one from Walmart, because of course it was probably made in China.
