Why'd they say THAT?

I'm sure they meant well. Perhaps they saw humor in it that wasn't immediately obvious to me. Maybe they just had a really tight deadline and couldn't think of anything else....

Today, I was scanning through email when I saw this message:

"Five Father's Day Deals for the man who gave birth to you."

What? He WHAT? Wow, I must have a REALLY special dad.

No. Wait, It didn't happen that way. I'm sure Mom wouldn't have steered me wrong on that one.
