Positivity is still a struggle for me sometimes.
Some days, it is hard.
This last week or two has been very hard.
Recovering from my half-marathon, some of the worst allergy symptoms I've ever experienced and a few major life changes coming up have left me stressed out. And I haven't been handling it as well as I ought.
My Beloved knows I've been struggling and she shared this thought with me: Plant your day.
No, we're not talking about vegetables and flowers. We're talking about planting the seeds of the day to come.
I often found myself stressed out before I even got out of bed, imagining how badly the day could go. I planted the seeds of negativity and later on, I would reap what I'd sown.
My Beloved pointed out that instead, I should be planting seeds of positivity. If I nurtured those seeds, the harvest of the day would be one of goodness.
And so far it's working out well. Another tool helping me to lead a positive life.
