One-vehicle crash takes the lives of Nevada couple

Two Nevada residents died in a one-vehicle accident just south of Bronaugh Thursday afternoon after the pickup truck they were riding in ran off the roadway and overturned. Gary White, 63, and his wife, Romelia, 68, were both killed in the wreck. The accident was reported to dispatchers at about 4:30 p.m. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened when White lost control of the 1999 Chevrolet pickup he was driving and ran off the roadway. According to the MSHP, as of 8 a.m, today, a total of 625 people have been killed in traffic accidents on Missouri highways in 2003.
