St. Mary's celebrates National Catholic Schools Week

St. Mary's School has been in Nevada almost 100 years, and today is still providing Christian education to area children. This week, as St. Mary's celebrates National Catholic Schools Week, an opportunity to thank its volunteers and to celebrate its history. The new school building was built in 1992. Under the direction of the Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, St. Mary's administrators must maintain a curriculum and budget that reflect statewide standards set by the Missouri Chapter of the National Federation of Non-Public Schools, State Accreditation Associations.
