Marie "Mary" Tino, 89, Nevada, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada following a lengthy illness. She was born Sep. 3, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
She was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and later moved to California, where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Westminster Hospital, Los Angeles, Calif., until her retirement in 1971. She moved to Nevada in 1996 to be closer to her daughter Louella. She lived the remainder of her life here. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include, one daughter, Bernadette McEwan, Sonora, Calif.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Anthony Cappola, Palm Springs, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; two daughters, Louella McCarty, and Virginia Hammons; and one brother, Bill Cappola.
There are no local services planned. Services will be held in Sonora, Calif., at a later date. Local arrangements were under the direction of Milster Funeral Home, Nevada.
