Clifford Donald Green Sr.

Clifford Donald Green Sr., 80, Baton Rouge, La., formerly of Milo, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at his home.

He was a retired sales manager with Stanley Home Products. He was a member of Baton Rouge Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Carafaye Cheeks, Kathy Gautreaux and Dianna Kepper; one son, Clifford Green Jr.; and a sister, Iva Conyac; 19 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Larson Green; mother, Ada Green; father, Chester Green; four sisters; and one brother.

Memorial services were held at Seale Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, Nov. 8, with Reggie Phillips officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs, La. Memorial donations can be made to Jones Creek Adventist Academy Worthy Student Fund. Arrangements were by Seale Funeral Service, Inc., in Denham Springs, La.

Bill McDowell

Bill McDowell, 78, died Nov. 4, 2004. Services were held at Ferry Funeral Home on Nov. 8, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Musical selections were "One Day at a Time," "His Eye is on the Sparrow" and "Amazing Grace." Pallbearers were Scott Buerge, Jim Lawrence, Tom Riley, Kent Roberts, Everett Wolfe and Gordon Halcomb. Honorary pallbearers were Willard Bond, V.H. Gulliford, Bob Morgan, Bill Wycoff, Bob Palmer, John Esry, Joe Ida, Don Alt and Ed Barker. Interment was in Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.
