Delores June Lewis, 71, Nevada, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at Cedar County Memorial Hospital, El Dorado Springs. She was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Blakeman, Kan., to Joseph Walter Robbins and Dollie Pearl Johnson Robbins. She married Weldon Wooley on Oct. 22, 1951, in Rangley, Colo. Later, she married John C. Lewis on Feb. 21, 1969, in Peru, Ind., and he preceded her in death in 1978.

Delores grew up and graduated from high school in Rangley, Colo. She came to Nevada in 1972. She worked at Nevada State Hospital for 18 years as an aide, retiring in 1996.

Survivors include three sons, Wade Wooley, Nevada, Conway Lewis and his wife, Cynthia, Clarinda, Iowa., and Joseph Lewis and his wife, Shelia, Shenandoah, Iowa; five daughters, Arlinda Van and her husband, Charles, Clarinda, Iowa, Vickie Williams and her husband, John Jackson, Sheldon, Barbara Stavropoulos and her husband, Marc, Vernal, Utah, Claudia Stacy and her husband, Steve, Hunington, Ore., and Christine Baker and her husband, Tim, Montevallo, Mo.; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lola Feldhaus and her husband, Paul, Tacoma, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Ivan Robbins; and two sisters, Lila Isaac and infant Violet Robbins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Paul Leasor officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 7-8 p.m. on today at the funeral home.
