Frankie Lucille Fine

Frankie Lucille Fine, the daughter of Frank Clark and Ora Haggard Blevins, was born April 9, 1917, in El Dorado Springs, and passed away Dec. 25, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center at the age of 87 years, 8 months, and 16 days.

She moved with her family from El Dorado Springs to Nevada at an early age and spent the rest of her life in Nevada. Mrs. Fine graduated from Nevada High School in 1935. She was united in marriage to Harry Horton "Hoot" Fine and he preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Fine was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Samuel Horton Fine and his wife, Laree, of Lake Lure, N.C., Randall Dean Fine and his wife, Mary, of Olathe, Kan.; one daughter, Karen Jean Laflen and her husband, Bob, of Houston, Texas; one sister, Norma Jean Hoy of Shawnee Mission, Kan; six grandchildren, Debra Laree Fine Hagerty, Samuel Douglas Fine, Julie Jean Brown, Jill Janine Gonzalez, Eric Dean Fine and Kelle Rene Oestreich; and 14 great-grandchildren, Christopher Brown, Jacob Fine, Ashley Brown, Austin Rhine, Amy Fine, Madeline M. Brown, Robert N. Gonzalez, Caroline Mackenzie Jean Brown, Elise Fine, Sophia Nicole Gonzalez, Jeremy Daniel Fine, Luke Braden Oestreich, Erin Marie Hagerty and Jennifer Marie Hagerty. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Pete Schamoskie.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Samuel Douglas Fine officiating. Burial will be in Newton Burial Park. The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
