Ronald Eugene Wilson, age 40, of Lamar, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at his home. He was born May 28, 1964, in Lamar, to Fred Willis and LaVeda B. (Wessler) Wilson. He was a lifetime resident of Barton County and graduated from Lamar High School in 1982.

He was a forklift operator at O'Sullivan Industries for many years and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar.

Survivors include his mother, LaVeda Wilson, Lamar; a sister, Jeannette Eaves, Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers, Donald Wilson, Joplin, and Kenneth Wilson, Nevada; and a niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Wilson, on Nov. 13, 1975.

Funeral services will be held at Friday, Jan. 7, 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, in Lamar, with the Rev. Galen Friedrichs officiating. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. today, Jan. 6, at Daniel Funeral Home.
