John P. Martin

John P. Martin, 81, Tiff City, Mo., died Jan. 16, 2005. Services were held at Ferry Funeral Home on Jan. 22, at 11 a.m., with Mick Evans officiating. Musicians were Verna Hodson and daughter and Jack and Dana Shaver. Musical selections were "If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again," "I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone" and "I Want to Stroll Over Heaven with You." Pallbearers were Jack Shaver, Jacob Sutton, Nathan Sutton, Jeff Sutton, Pete Walter and Frank Weicht. Military rites were conducted by the National Guard Juliet Team, Joplin. Interment was in Moore Cemetery. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.
