Nevada JV girls, boys both win

The Nevada junior varsity basketball teams both beat Neosho Friday.

The girls won 41-20, getting a game-high 12 points from Kylee Francis.

The Lady Tigers shut out Neosho in the first quarter, building a 13-0 lead. Nevada controlled the game the rest of the way as they won easily.

Jordan Scotten added nine points and Kristen Badgley had eight in the win.

The JV boys beat Neosho 42-40, getting a short jumper from Ronnie Herda as time expired to pull out the win.
