Rainbows and reading

A young reader points out a hidden flea in a picture that is part of this month's preschool story time at the Nevada Public Library. Even though the day was overcast and gloomy, rainbows were the theme. After reading the book, "The Napping House," and another book about rainbows the kids were treated to edible rainbows were made by skewering colorful fruit. The youngsters also participated in a craft activity during which they made rainbows from paper plates and colored streamers.
