Marion Le Hill, 85, died March 9, 2005, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, in Cameron, Mo. She was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Marion and Ethel Le (Hodges) Wegener. She married Archie Herbert Hill.
She and her husband owned and operated the Walnut Street Grocery in Rich Hill for more than 11 years. She was a member of the Rich Hill First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Jerry Hill; her parents; and one brother, Harry Wegener. She is survived by one son, J.L. Hill, Friendswood, Texas; three grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Connor, Casper, Wyo., and Marcia Baker, Lenexa, Kan.; and other family.
Funeral services will be held March 17, at 2 p.m., with Phillip Fox officiating. Organist will be June Yarick. Soloist will be Art Morris. Musical selections will be "Because He Lives" and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow." Pallbearers will be John Hough, A.F. Yarick, David Yarick, Bill Reed, Val Petrus, Jerry Wolfe and Larnal Martin. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rich Hill. Arrangements are by Heuser Funeral Home in Rich Hill.
