Ruth Ann Meisenheimer

Ruth Ann Meisenheimer, 60, Nevada, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, following a brief illness. She was born Aug. 28, 1944, in El Dorado Springs, to Dennis Dean Pursley and Pearl Ruth Martin Pursley. She married Ed Meisenheimer on Dec. 1, 1968, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, and he survives of the home.

She was born and raised in El Dorado Springs and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School. She was a Baptist, a member of BPW, and a former Sweet Adeline. Also, she was a member of the Eagles No. 3770 Auxiliary and was past Madam President and had currently been serving as Chaplain.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, Ed, include four stepsons, Doug Thomas and Jim Meisenheimer, both of Oak Grove, Mo., Dale Meisenheimer, and Dick Meisenheimer, both of Nevada; three stepdaughters, Donna Moore and Connie Hartline, both of Nevada, and Debbie Dahmer, Durango, Colo.; 10 stepgrandchildren, and several stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Danny Pursley, Nevada; and one sister, BeIva Meisenheimer, Nevada.

A memorial service will be held at Ferry Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 21. An Eagles ceremony will be held immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home.
