The Nevada Tigers dropped to 1-2 on the tennis court this season with a 6-3 loss at Bolivar Friday.
The Tigers lost three matches that required an extra game and that was enough to give Bolivar the team victory.
Derek Fast and Justdan Lockwood won individual matches for the Tigers. Then Fast teamed with Ryan Kimbrough to win a doubles match.
Kimbrough, Ed Horst and the doubles team of Horst and Adam Gullett all lost matches 9-7.
Kimbrough lost to Bolivar's number-two player Andrew Magana, and Horst lost in the number-three match o Ryan Bayer.
Gullett lost to Tyler Seiner 8-4 in individual play and Jake Holmes fell to Grant Haun in the final individual varsity match of the dual.
Fast had beaten Tyler Sparks 8-6 in the number-one match, and Lockwood cruised to an 8-2 victory over Jack Jones.
In doubles play Fast and Kimbrough beat Magana and Bayer 8-4. Horst and Gullett lost the close one to Sparks and Jones.
In the final doubles match of the day Lockwood and Holmes lost to Seiner and Haun 8-4.
In junior varsity action Erik Delaney won three matches, all by 6-0 margins. Ethan Fast the only other JV match 6-1.
Nevada will play on the road again Tuesday against Thomas Jefferson High School.
