Calvary Christian School track competed in a ribbon meet in Springfield Tuesday, winning five of the nine events they entered.

Devan Scougal, Scott Borders, Tyler Borders and Tim Wallace combined to win the five events for the Eagles.

Scougal won the 1600-meters with a time of 5 minutes, 48.50 seconds.

Scott Borders won the long jump with a distance of 17-11 1/2.

Wallace won the triple jump with a 36-11.

Tyler Borders won both the discus and shot put. His discus throw went 101-1 1/2. His shot put was 43-1/2.

Wallace also was second in the discus and Scott Borders was second in the triple jump. Scougal placed third in the 800.

Calvary was in Springfield again Saturday for an invitational meet.
