Two Nevada Tigers were honored when the Southwest Conference announced their All-Conference teams.

Thompson, who hit .469 this season, was named as a utility player. Thompson also was named to the second team as a pitcher. When Thompson was not pitching, he played either first base or in the outfield.
Joining Thompson on the second team was battery mate Keith Overton.
Overton, a junior, was a mainstay at catcher for Nevada this season. Overton hit .360 this spring.
Overton and Thompson were both key cogs in the offense for Nevada.
Overton usually batted second and Thompson hit third in the line up -- two spots usually reserved for a couple of the better hitters on the team.
Overton and Thompson will be two key returning players for Nevada in 2006 as they only lose three seniors. Only two were starters.
