The Nevada Tiger track team wrapped up the 2005 season at the state championships Friday and Saturday in Jefferson City.
Boys' results:
In the boys 800-meter relay, Nevada finished 16th with a time of 1 minute, 36.39 seconds. The team consisted of Eric Atkinson, Bill Fay, Blake Sanderson and Harrison Gage.
In the high jump, Atkinson was seventh with a height of 6-feet, 2-inches. Nathan Gragg also cleared 6-2, but in a tiebreaker placed ninth.
Both had cleared 6-6 this season, the school record, and would have tied for first at the state meet with a similar jump.
In the long jump Gage placed seventh with a leap of 21-7.
The boys 3200 relay team placed 12th with a time of 8:17.90. That team was Mason Benn, Jim Fay, Mark Reed and Ben Wilson.
Girls' results:
Veronica Mosier was 13th in the triple jump with a best of 33-8.75.
Brittany Pettibon was 16th in the 100 with a time of 13.24 seconds.
The girls 400 relay team was 13th with a time of 51.46. That team was Pettibon, Afton Baldwin, Bridget Baldwin and Katelyn Brier.
