June Smith Pellet

June Smith Pellet, 81, died May 19, 2005.

She graduated from Nevada High School in 1941. She was a long time registered nurse and manager at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, retiring in the mid-'70s. She was raised by her aunts, long-time school teachers, Hattie and Pearl Smith.

She is survived by two sons, John and Paul.

No services were held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made for nursing education to the Baylor University Medical Center or the AORN Foundation, in care of Guardian Funeral Home, 5704 James Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, (817) 293-8477.
