Marjorie Maxine Lambert

Marjorie Maxine Lambert, 77, formerly of Nevada, died Thursday, June 23, 2005, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.

She was born Aug. 21, 1927, near Marshfield, Mo., the daughter of James Clyde Shannon and Mary Elberta Clift Shannon.

She was a homemaker and member of the Black Oak Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Bill" Lambert; a brother, Wilbur Shannon; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include four children, Larry Smith, Springfield, Linda Jones, Fayetteville, Ark., Carolyn Garretson, Humansville, Mo., and Tamara Blazek, Humansville, Mo; a sister, Evelyn Parkhurst, Bazine, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held on June 26, in the Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield, Mo. Interment was in the Marshfield Cemetery.
