He was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Nevada, the son of Sylven C. and Norma Georgia Huston Sisson.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1953-56. He worked for Safeway, now known as Cereal Foods. He retired after 35 years as a grain miller.
Survivors include five daughters, Becky Lobner of DeSoto, Rhonda Kraus of DeSoto, Terri Berry of Bonner Springs, Kan., Kimmy Jo Jennings of Stockton, Mo., Mona Gower of Desoto; one brother, Ben Sisson of Richmond, Mo.; two sisters, Lorraina Slater of Kansas City, Mo., Treva Crane of Gallup, N.M.; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ronald will be at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary- Eudora Chapel, Lawrence, Kan. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in DeSoto, Kansas. Family will greet friends from noon until service time on Wednesday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel
. Family suggests memorials in his name to the American Heart Association and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
