Teresa Anne Croxdale

Teresa Anne Croxdale, 69, Nevada, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born March 11, 1936, in Nevada, to Francis D. Woodfill and Emma Bernice Jenkins Woodfill.

Anne was born and reared in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School. She was a graduate of Southwest Missouri State College, now Missouri State University, with a degree in education. Following a number of years of classroom teaching, she served as an administrator at Nevada State Hospital, retiring from there in 1983. She then worked for a number of years in administration at Moore-Few Care Center. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Nevada Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include one daughter, Marci Hardin and her husband Bill, Nevada; five grandchildren, Rachel Hardin, Phoenix, Ariz., Joe Hardin, Pleasant Hill, Mo., Sam Hardin, Alex Hardin, and Maddie Hardin, all of Nevada; one sister, Sue Faros, Raymore, Mo.; two cousins, Bob Woodfill, Nevada, and Kay Wells, Joplin, Mo. Also surviving are Max Croxdale, Strafford, Mo., numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Mark Gregory Croxdale and Todd Matthew Croxdale and one brother, Jim Woodfill.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 22, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Bill Platt and Bill Cox officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m., Thursday in Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Memorials may be given to the Nevada Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary in care of the funeral home.
