Inspector Chance at Garland to
investigate robberies of Lybarger boy
The government has not yet decided what it will do with Charlie Lybarger, the 9-year-old Indian half-breed boy, who was arrested last week and charges with robbing rural mail boxes in the Garland vicinity.
He is still in the charge of Clerk White, of the Federal court, and he knows of no authority whereby he can dispose of his case except in the regular way, no withstanding his extremely tender age. The boy was formally taken into court this morning and his case set for Dec. 30.
