County budget to be ready for public review today

Vernon County Commissioners were working Tuesday to finalize the budget numbers for the county to prepare for the 10-day inspection period.

"We will have it all figured and laid out for inspection today," Presiding Commissioner David Darnold said. "Folks can come by Wednesday and look them all over."

Darnold said the county was facing the same problem many people were, trying to meet increasing costs.

"It's like everywhere else, expenses are going up faster than income," Darnold said.
