Judith Ann Quade of Carthage, Mo., beloved wife, mother, grandmother and siser passed away Feb. 3, 2006. She died in her home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born July 12, 1942, in Bronaugh, Mo., to the late Archie and Mibler Shields. On Dec. 14, 1981, she married her loving husband Leonard "Lefty" Quade whom survives of the home.

Judy enjoyed crocheting, crafts, taking care of her flowers and most of all -- spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Ashby of Nevada, Mo., and her children Jacob, Allie and Lindy; a son Tim Ashby of Branson, Mo., and his son Alex, a son Don Ashby of Galena, Kan.; a daughter RaeAnn Cannefax and her husband, Dan of Springfield, Mo., and their children Benjamin, Claire and Claudia; a son Scott Senkevech and his wife Angie of Deerfield, Mo., and their children Jordawn and Kori; a granddaughter Sara Query of Nevada; and Judy's great-grandson Teightn.

She was preceded in death by her infant sister Sharon Shields and her brother Robert Shields.

Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 5, from 2--3 p.m., at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Mo. Services will be held Monday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m., at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, with burial to follow at Fasken Cemetery, rural Carthage, Mo.
