Roger grew up in Nevada and later St. Joseph, Mo., and graduated from St. Joseph Central High School. Roger was retired due to a disability. He was a master gardener, amateur photographer, and an avid bird watcher.
Roger is survived by his longtime companion Sandra Gianola of the home; his son, Roger Dewayne Lukenbill, Nevada; his daughter, Ashley, Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandson, Trenton, Nevada; step daughter, Stephanie Lukenbill, Nevada; four sisters, Janet DeSpain, Chris Lukenbill, Brenda Lukenbill and Lorinda Lukenbill all of Nevada; three brothers, Doug Lukenbill, Walker, Eddie Lukenbill and Shawn Lukenbill, Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Austin Lukenbill.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 13, at Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call ftom now until 3 p.m., on Monday and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., on Sunday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, Mo.
