Mass of Christian burial for Eva Mae Quinn, 77, Lawrence, Kan., will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 4, at St. Lawrence Catholic Student Center. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Lawrence. Mrs. Quinn died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at her home after a long illness. She was born June 10, 1928, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Henry F. and Theresa Krieger Jensen.

Mrs. Quinn was a homemaker. Formerly, she was a language teacher at the Eudora High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of Kansas. Mrs. Quinn was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Student Center and a member and former treasurer of the Douglas County Quilter's Guild.

She married Dennis B. Quinn, Aug. 13, 1952, in Omaha, he survives of the home. Also surviving are two daughters Monica Sercer, Fort Scott, Kan., Alison Quinn, of the home; a son, Timothy Quinn, Shawnee Mission, Kan.; two sisters, Margaret Hatch, Athol, Idaho, Theresa Anderson, Alexandria, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A parish rosary service will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to the Santa Maria School, Eudora, Kan., or to Clearcreek Monastery in Oklahoma.
