West, Cowan

Terry and Patty West, Fort Scott, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chrystal West, to Joshua Cowan, son of Billy and Pam Cowan, Fort Scott. The couple's wedding is planned for 2 p.m., Saturday, April 22, at Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with a reception to follow at the Elks Lodge.

Chrystal is a 2002 graduate of Fort Scott High School and a graduate of Fort Scott Community College. She is currently attending Pittsburg State University. She works as the assistant softball coach at FSCC and is also employed by Atkins Insurance.

Joshua is a 2000 graduate of Fort Scott High School and attended Pittsburg State University. He is currently employed by Midland Restoration.

The bride's grandparents are Pete and Lou Piotrowski, Fort Scott; Marcine West, Redfield; and the late Delbert West.

The bridegroom's grandparents are Gene and Peggy Cowan and Larry and Kay Ballou, all of Fort Scott.
