Pauline Camp, age 91, formerly of Nevada, died on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison, Ill. She was born on Nov. 17, 1914, in Horton, Mo., to Charles Grove and Rosa Reed Grove.
Pauline lived all her life in Vernon County. She worked at the Nevada State Hospital as Central Supply Supervisor until her retirement after working there over 30 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Nevada. She had spent the past two and a half years in Morrison, to be near her son.
Survivors include her son, Jim Camp of Morrison; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Shields, Marie Perry, Marcella Smith and Lorene Raines; and one brother, Charles Grove.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, April 19, at the First Presbyterian Church, Nevada with the Rev. Greg Ferree officiating. Interment will follow in Balltown Cemetery, Horton, Mo. Friends may call at Ferry Funeral Home on Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 9-10:45 a.m., at the church on Wednesday.
