David T. Terrell

David T. Terrell, 56, Milo, Mo., passed away Friday, April 28, 2006, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 26, 1950, in Bedford, Ind., to Ruel Terrell and Hazel Irene Coulter Terrell. He was married Sept. 21, 1991, in Orleans, Ind., to Lisa Ann Cleveland and she survives of the home.

Mr. Terrell grew up and went to school in Orleans. He was a heavy equipment operator in telephone construction most of his life. He moved to Vernon County, Mo., from Indiana in 1996. Locally he worked for Johnson Construction and Sproul's Construction in Lamar, Mo. He was a past-contractor for GTE telephone company in the Sheldon and El Dorado Springs areas.

In addition to his wife Lisa, survivors include seven children, Kellie Dawn Hobson and husband Mark, Bedford, David T. Terrell II "Bomber" and wife Priscilla, Mitchell, Ind., Jessie Terrell and wife Leah, Bedford, Lee Hardman, Nevada, Jason Hardman and wife Jessica, Milo, Sineca Terrell and Isabella Terrell, both of the home; three grandchildren, Bree Terrell, Derrek Hobson and Trey Terrell; his mother, Hazel Terrell, Orleans; his mother-in-law, Mary Robin and husband Louis Vidor, Texas; two brothers, Tim Terrell and wife Karen, Orleans, and Jeff Terrell and wife Ladena, the state of Texas; two sisters, Kathy Ashanbraner, Orleans, and Marty Terry and husband Kenny, Bedford; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Interment will follow in Tolson Cemetery, rural Sheldon.

Friends may call now and until the time of service at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday between 7-8 p.m.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
