Leamon -- 60 years

Charles and Mildred (Lessen) Leamon, Fort Scott, Kan., formerly of Arma, Kan., will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on July 26. They were married July 26, 1946, at the United Methodist Church at Arma. Dr. Bramble conducted the service with Robert Lessen and Helen Kriegsman attending the couple.

Charles and Mildred lived in Mound City from 1956 until 1975 when they moved to Arma. While in Arma they were both employed by the Northeast school system. They have two daughters, Mary Ann Childers, Fort Scott, and Nancy Brown, Appleton City, Mo. The couple also have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
