Johnson -- 25 years

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Johnson, Nevada, Mo., celebrated their 25th anniversary on July 18, 2006, with dinner in Kansas City. The couple plans to renew their vows in a private ceremony at a future date, with vows to be solemnized by the Rev. Wendell Johnson, the groom's brother-in-law, who also officiated the couple's wedding on July 18, 1981, at the Beloit Baptist Church, Beloit, Kan.

Ronald J. Johnson and the former Susan R. Seely, of Concordia, Kan., have lived in the present area since October 1993, also residing in Concordia and Hutchinson, Kan. He is a substitute teacher for the Nevada R-5 School District, and she a medical technologist at Nevada Regional Medical Center. The couple lists their hobbies and interests as ham radio, cats and dogs. Susan also enjoys reading, knitting and family genealogy.

The Johnsons have one child, Matthew K. Johnson, Kansas City, Mo.
