Adams -- Weber Wed

Jessica Adams and Donovan Weber were married July 15, 2006, at The Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel at Powell Gardens, Kingsville, Mo. Sarah Knoll-Williams, Episcopal seminary student, Berkeley, Calif., celebrated the nuptials with the Honorable David Darnold, Nevada, in attendance.

The processional selection, "Ava Maria" was performed by violinist, Melody Adams, sister-in-law of the bride, Carrollton, Texas. Acoustic guitarists, Dave Bush, St. Louis, and Phillip Johnson, Liberty, played "The Luckiest" and "It's a Wonderful World." Readings included the "Traditional Irish Blessing" by the bride's sister-in-law, Amy Adams, Columbia, and the "Traditional Jewish Blessing" by the groom's sister, Shay Weber-Lewis, Kansas City. Following the ceremony, guests were transported by trolley to the Powell Gardens Grand Hall and Conservatory for a cocktail buffet and dance reception.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Rama Adams, Nevada. The groom is the son of Mark and Randi Weber, Kansas City, and grandson of Seymour and Shirley Zeinfeld, Overland Park, Kan.

Angela Scalese, Kansas City, who introduced the couple at a birthday party in 2000, served as matron of honor. Sarah Scherder, Bowling Green, Mo., was maid of honor. Brody Weber, brother of the groom, Kansas City, served as best man, and Kenneth Barr, Kansas City, was groomsman. Ring bearer was Benjamin Adams, Carrollton, Texas, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Matt Knoll-Willams, Berkeley, Calif., and brothers of the bride, Jeremy Adams, Carrollton, Texas, and Joshua Adams, Columbia, Mo.

Reception attendants, cousins of the bride, were Katlyn Kern, Brooke Kuehny, Kate Sontheimer, Sarah Morgan and Erin and Shannon Tuttle. Friends of the couple, Dominick Scalese, and Brian Scherder, served as videographer and disc jockey, respectively.

Following a wedding trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the couple was greeted at a brunch reception at the Nevada Country Club July 30, 2006. Music was provided by pianist, Janice Runyan, and violinist, Melody Adams. The newlyweds are at home in Columbia where they attend the University of Missouri. Jessica is majoring in civil engineering and Donovan, in architectural studies.
