Merle Eugene Rouse, 80, Liberal, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at 12:05 a.m., at Truman Healthcare Center, Lamar, Mo. He was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Liberal, to Charles Richard and Dora Viola (Robertson) Rouse.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Konantz-Warden Funeral Home Chapel, Lamar. Burial will be in Liberal City Cemetery, Liberal. Visitation will be at 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home.
