Donald Eugene Ragan, age 29, a resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Donnie was born July 2, 1977, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., the son of Ralph Ragan and Deborah Keys Allen. He married Angela Stuart on June 23, 2001, in Fort Scott. They later divorced, but remained good friends.

Donnie was a carpenter by trade and currently worked for Query Construction. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Donnie was a member of Grace Baptist Tabernacle. He lived for his two daughters, Mackenzie Jade and Samantha Renee Ragan.

He is survived by his two daughters; his mother, Deb Allen and boyfriend, Don Hinkle; his father, Ralph Ragan and wife, Nancy; brother Jimmy and wife, April; stepbrothers, Kenny Allen, Tony Allen, Richie Allen, Edward Bland and Tyler Ragan; stepsisters, Rocky Wheeler and Shelly Householder. Also surviving are maternal grandmother, Lucretia Keys; paternal grandmother, Josephine Jarvis; nephews, Nicholas Ragan, Landon Ragan and Jordan Stuart; and former wife and friend, Angela Ragan. Donnie was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Paul Keys Jr., and paternal grandfather, Ralph Ragan Sr.

The Rev. Paul Rooks will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at Grace Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday night from 6-8 p.m., at Cheney Witt Chapel.
