The Nevada Tigers boys' varsity cross country team finished sixth out of 18 schools at a meet in Carl Junction Thursday.
Nixa won the meet with 37 points.
Trevor Hinkle finished eight individually over the 5,000-meter course.
Hinkle had a time of 17 minutes, 21 seconds.
Ty Lero was the second-best runner for Nevada, finishing in 18:52 to place 38th.
Nash Smith was 40th at 18:57.
Mark Reed was 43rd with a time of 19:06.
Jacob Query finished 47th with a time of 19:21.
Chris Bray was the final varsity runner with a time of 20:02, 58th individually.
Kadee Hughes and Bethany Moore were in the girls' varsity race, with Hughes (24:18) finishing 43rd and Moore (25:38) 50th.
In the junior varsity race, Todd Brier had a time of 20:52, 26th individually.
Pat Barnett was 37th with a time of 21:37, and Tyler Werner was 48th with a time of 23:37.
In the girls' JV race, Daven Smith was seventh with a time of 25:53.
Caedran Audley was 11th with a time of 26:06.
Allie Query was 13th with a time of 26:48.
Emily Watts was 15th with a time of 27:18.
In the boys' middle school race, a 2,400 meter course, Stephen Jenkins was sixth with a time of 9:01.
Mike Bray was 14th with a time of 10:04.
Nevada races in a meet at Neosho Thursday, and the Southwest Conference title will be decided there.
