Betty Fern Koehn, 68, Walker, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Nov.11, 2006, at Nevada Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 17, 1938, to Fred Redger and Ida Koehn Redger in Tampa, Marion County, Kan., where she spent her childhood. She married Vivan Koehn on November 4, 1989, in Winton, Calif., cheerfully accepting the role of mother and grandmother.

Betty was a member of the Living Faith Mennonite Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Vivan of the home, include two sons, Everett and his wife, Patricia, BuhI, Idaho, Ron and his wife, Bonnie, Walker, Mo., and Karen Schmidt and her husband, Maynard, Scotia, Neb.' 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Redger and his wife, Linda, Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Jean King, Denver, Colo., and Rose Koehn and her husband, Leon, Chester, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one grandson, one brother-in-law, and one sister-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Living Faith Mennonite Church, Walker. Interment will follow in the Living Faith Mennonite Cemetery, Walker. The family receives friends 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the church, on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Friends may call Tuesday from 1 p.m., to noon on Thursday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, Mo.

Memorials may be given to The Living Faith Mennonite School in care of Willie Becker or Ferry Funeral Home.
