Harms injured in crash

Emergency crews responded to a traffic accident on U.S. 71 at about 7:45 this morning that left a Rich Hill woman injured.

Barbara E. Harms, 59, was hurt when a 1995 Chevrolet driven by 17-year-old Nash R. Smith failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the 1991 Ford Harms was driving, on U.S. Highway 71 at Compton Junction, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Harms suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada.
