Missing boys are located by police

Police Friday night located two Nevada boys who had been missing from their homes since late Thursday. The two lads, Billie Stanford, 11, and Paul Jean Burnaham, 13, were located by officers walking along the road near the O.K. Rubber Welders in east Nevada at 5:59 o'clock Friday night.

Officers had been searching the area most of Friday afternoon for the boys after they had been sighted several times during the day by businessmen and residents in the vicinity.

After being taken to the police station for questioning, the boys were returned to their homes. Neither lad gave any reason for their disappearance.

Young Stanford was a Daily Mail and Herald carrier boy and disappeared after leaving his home at 8 a.m., Thursday. He was supposed to have brought $10 to the newspaper office to pay on his account but never did show up. The boys spend several dollars buying groceries and other items during their time away from home.
