Trailer full of greyhounds overturns

Nevada, Mo. -- Two greyhounds that escaped from this overturned dog kennel trailer that overturned after skidding on ice on U.S. 71 Highway at about 11 a.m., Friday, appear to join the driver in inspecting the damage. Several greyhounds were on board and were spotted running nearby. The dogs were eventually recovered. Some ended up at Coonrod's, a short distance away, where they were kept inside to be returned to the owner. The dogs appeared to be uninjured at the time.
