Geraldine Irene Petty, 94, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at Christian Health Care in Nevada.

She was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Casey, Ill., to Grover Adams and Emma Gazell Kackley Adams. She was married to W.A. King and he preceded her in death. She later married Vernon Petty on Aug. 12, 1985, and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1994.

Geraldine lived in the Schell City and Horton areas most of her adult life.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 19, at Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City, with David Rorabaugh officiating. Friends may call now and until 10 a.m., on Friday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
