Rug over vent causes fire

Nevada Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of South Clay Wednesday. The fire was caused by a rug that was placed over a floor vent by the unknowing tenant when the floor furnace was ignited. The tenant caught the fire soon enough that it did not get out of control but there is some smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
