Barbara Jean Files, 49, Nevada, Mo., passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at her home in Nevada following an illness of several years. She was born July 30, 1957, in San Francisco, Calif., to Don del-Rosario and Barbara Virginia Kearby del-Rosario. She married Eddie Lee Files on July 4, 2001, in Eureka Springs, Ark., and he survives of the home.

Barbara grew up in San Francisco and moved to El Dorado Springs, Mo., as a teenager. She spent most of her life in El Dorado Springs before moving to Nevada in the 1990s and has lived here since. She was employed at Key Work Clothes in Nevada for 26 years as a seamstress. Barbara was a Baptist. She liked to play softball, roller skating, cooking for her family, and was an avid Chiefs fan.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Eddie, include her children, Jason Gene Lee and his wife, Crystal, Nevada, Jennifer Lynn Tucker and her husband, Keven Batesville, Ark., Justin Scott Lee and Adrienne, Nevada, Deanna Ivalee Ross, Nevada, Darlynn "Boo" Natalie Ross, Nevada; grandchildren, Jessica, Kristen and Deven Tucker, Batesville; Rachelle, Kendra, and Sheyenne Allen, Nevada; Jace and Zade Lee, Nevada; Draven Johnson, Nevada; two brothers, Ron del-Rosario, Nevada, and Don del-Rosario, Sweet Springs, Mo.; mother, Barbara Virginia Kearby, Nevada. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and her many friends whose lives she had touched. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 14, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Click Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 6-7 on Friday evening, April 13, at the funeral home.
