Merylin Leon Colvin

Merylin Leon Colvin, age 73, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007. He was born April 24, 1934, in Richards, Mo.

Merylin grew up and attended school in Nevada, Mo. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Nevada. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him and whom he loved. He loved Jesus and was looking forward to his heavenly home.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Colvin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four children, Tony Colvin of Midwest City, Okla., Lana O'Dell and Tana Uttinger, both of Nevada, and Laura Haygood of Oklahoma City; one stepson, Jamie Gregory of Midwest City; eleven grandchildren and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Neta Alice and Walter Roy Colvin; four brothers; one sister; a son-in-law; and a granddaughter.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment following at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Norman, Okla.
