A Nevada woman and a 2-year-old boy were killed Sunday in a two-vehicle collision near the Oklahoma/Texas border. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain Chris West told reporters that the crash occurred at about 10 a.m., on I-40, near Clinton, Okla., when a Ford Explorer driven by 27-year-old Jacqueline E. Moreno-Barnes veered across the median and slammed head-on, into a tractor-trailer rig, causing both vehicles to catch fire. Moreno-Barnes and 2-year-old Nathan Salvador Bobadilla-Ramirez were killed. A 5-year-old girl in the vehicle was transported to an Oklahoma hospital in critical condition.

The truck driver was not seriously injured.
