Bronaugh seniors look ahead at graduation

Thursday, May 24, 2007

Bronaugh's class of 2007 graduated into a new world of opportunities Saturday afternoon. Valedictorian Stormi Wilson, pictured, gives her valedictory speech to her fellow classmates. She spoke a parody of Dr. Suess' "Oh the Places You'll Go." in hopes of lightening the moods of her fellow students while still delivering a positive message. "Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to great places! You're off and away! You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go." These are a few of the words that Wilson spoke to her fellow classmates, confirming their class motto, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." -- Eleanor Roosevelt. Salutatorian Brooke Longstreth also gave an address, looking back on the memories the class will always have of their years at Bronaugh schools. There were 18 students who made up the class of 2007.
