Neosho blanked Nevada 16-0 on Tuesday in a run-rule, three-inning game, much like the 16-1 NHS setback on Aug. 28 in Nevada.
On Tuesday, Neosho scored 11 runs in the second inning and rolled to the lopsided win in Winks Field at Morse Park.
Neosho scored 11 runs in the second inning and cruised to a 16-0 victory.
"A conference win is always good," said Neosho coach Beth Alms. "We hit the ball hard, we hit it a lot better against them than we did last time."
Neosho's Kreslee Ketcham hit two of Neosho's four home runs in the game, a solo home run in the first inning and a three-run home run in the second that capped the scoring.
Dimitra "Meter" Boman led off Neosho's bottom half of the first inning by homering, part of a five-run first inning. Ketcham also homered in the first before Jade Bernhardt delivered a three-run double.
In the second inning, Sarah Heath hit a three-run homer to start the scoring. Sami LaRose had a two-run single and Boman had an RBI single, prior to Ketcham going deep for a second time.
Neosho starter Kanisha James gave up only two hits, -- singles to the Lady Tigers' Jessica Davis and Danielle Stanhope in the third.
Rachel Kennedy was the losing pitcher for Nevada.
Neosho won the junior varsity game, 6-2. Shea Wyatt pitched and picked up the win.
